We are writing to share our gratitude for the generous response of the community to our requests for support of the Lakefront Porch. Thanks to you we have earned the $10,000 match recently offered by the Madison Community Foundation. Donations large and small have brought us ever closer to the goal.

The Lakefront Porch Team has been working hard with the City of Madison Parks Division, Madison Water Utility, Madison Parks Foundation, Findorff, Saiki Design, and other organizations to ensure this neighborhood park becomes a reality in 2023. After applying for a Vibrant Spaces Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) earlier this year, we are excited to announce that we were awarded $25,000 to help build community garden beds on the site! The new garden beds will replace the ones currently falling into disrepair and will become an integral part of the overall design of the Lakefront Porch. We are grateful for the support from the City of Madison Parks Division, which will be receiving the WEDC funds on behalf of the Lakefront Porch. Spring and summer brought exciting developments for the Lakefront Porch at Crowley Station on Wilson Street. We kick-started our private fundraising campaign, hosted community events, and continued to build support with city stakeholders.
